Salton Road Pedestrian/Cycle Bridge Project

A new pedestrian/cycling bridge at Salton Road over Highway 1 is coming to our neighborhood! The project will link between the University of the Fraser Valley and the core of Abbotsford.

Route 12 UFV – Bourquin Connector takes you from McCallum Road (bus stop is near McCallum Junction a 5 minute walk from your Midtown home) to the main shopping and retail area of Abbotsford –  including the stores at SevenOaks Shopping Centre in Abbotsford.

BC Transit in Fraser Valley

The Fraser Valley Express (FVX) is an excellent option that takes passengers from 200th Street exit in Langley all the way through to downtown Chilliwack – conveniently passing through the McCallum Park and Ride only a 5 minute walk from Midtown Club Suites.  Check out the daily schedule here: www.bctransit.com

West Coast Express Train to Vancouver including stops at Maple Ridge, Pitt Meadows, Coquitlam, Port Moody

Midtown Club Suites is located only a short 15 minute drive from the West Coast Express in Mission City where you can hop on the train and land up in downtown Vancouver or anywhere in between.  The West Coast Express operates from Monday to Friday , with five trains per day running from Mission to Vancouver in the morning peak hours and returning to Mission City Station in the evening peak hours.  A one-way trip take 75 minutes which is faster and more relaxing than making the commute in your car.   For their schedule of departure times click here: www.translink.ca

Flying

Abbotsford International Airport (YXX) set a new high in passenger numbers last year. Final passenger statistics for 2016 were announced and a total of 530,643 passengers went through YXX in 2016, an increase of 42,810 persons or 8.78 per cent over 2015.

It is no surprise that the Abbotsford Airport has been getting increasingly more attention the past couple years. It is the second biggest airport in the lower mainland after Vancouver International Airport and is in close proximity to Highway 1 and the US border.
